John Sexton is an outstanding professional in
every sense of the word. The full package. He
is beyond capable in all the aspects of what's absolutely necessary doing such
a sensitive, and sometimes thankless, job.
Let's face it, a wedding photographer by default has a dual purpose:
historically recording the event, while simultaneously accurately capturing the
joy and emotion throughout the day, for now and generations to come. He also must diplomatically deal with all the
different personalities who like to weigh in on the kind, type and amounts of
photos desired. John did it all, in a
calm, effortless fashion. John is
particularly good at communication, which is essential to the entire
process. And he also has an uncanny
ability to provide just the kinds of pictures we wanted, while adding a subtle
and appropriate artistic touch - as opposed to imposing his "vision"
of what he might have thought our wedding photos should look like. From initial
meeting to final product, I never had cause to second guess the choice to work
with John. That fact alone, being able
to exhale and know the photos were "covered", is reason enough to
hire John. After viewing the final
product, I'm convinced we could not have made a better choice in John Sexton,
nor could have ended up with any better results.

John was great to work with before the wedding
and on the day itself. He was very
unobtrusive and put everyone at ease. We
really liked his flexibility and his willingness to work with us to give us
exactly what we wanted. He also made
some great suggestions for additional locations on the wedding day and the
pictures turned out wonderful. Overall
we were extremely happy with his services and recommend him highly.

I have spent hours gazing at the photographs
since the wedding because I am so thrilled with them. During the ceremony we
were hardly aware John was there. For the remaining time he was good fun to be
with which is more important than you realise when choosing a photographer. I

Thank you so, so much for the lovely photos you
brought over to Mum and Dad's and that they in turn brought over to us. I couldn't
stop looking at them all weekend! It's lovely to look back at moments that had
slipped your mind. I love the mix of informal and formal, and it's true,
selecting just the few for the album, will be the problem!
It'll probably take us a while to go through
them and come up with our final selection, but we'll keep in mind the
guidelines and points you mentioned.

Hi John,
Thank you very much for leaving the proofs; we
did collect them that weekend and we are extremely pleased with the results -
especially as we both usually hate
